You know what day it is when you feel like gobbling up a whole cake for starters or feel like punching the wall and call it a night! That seems to be my routine pretty much every month. Hence, I came up with a cold solution which is not only drool worthy but also very thirst quenching and soul soothing for my cramps. Sharing this recipe feels so relatable to all the girls in the world on so many levels, it’s almost holy!
Prep Time : 3 minutes| Blend time: 2 minutes| Serves : 1-2 people
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of milk (Whole milk preferred)
- 7-8 chocmod truffettes de france natural truffles (Costco)
- 7-8 cubes of ice
- 3 tsps instant coffee (Nescafe)
- 3 tsps chocolate & cocoa – Sweet ground powder (Ghirardelli)
- 2 tsps sugar
Topping/Garnishing:
- Whipped cream
- Chocolate syrup (Hershey’s)
- Unsweetened cocoa powder (Hershey’s)
Tips:
- The cocoa dusted truffles are preferred. Use good quality of truffles to get the rich taste from the truffles and a textured blend from the cocoa dust.
- Adding sugar can be skipped completely or the sugar can be substituted by chocolate syrup.
Method:
- Add milk+ truffles + ice + coffee + sweeetened ground powder +sugar/chocolate syrup in a mixture/blender.
- Blend until the mixture gets coarsely blended, roughly around 2 minutes. I used vitamix.
Assembling:
- Drizzle hershey’s syrup around the insides of the serving glass jar.
- Pour the blended frappé into the glass jar.
- Top it off with whipped cream and a truffle on top.
- Dust some unsweetened cocoa powder on top and relish every sip of it while watching your favorite rom-com.
