Well, who doesn’t love a good party especially when the Dubs are in the finals and it’s a full house! What is even a full house without some quintessential finger food in an awesome sauce of hooting and cheering for your favorite team. But but but, the fun part is that dubs won their 4th ring that night so this might be just be my lucky finger food which literally takes just a few minutes to prepare and assemble.
Prep Time : 5-7 minutes| Assemble time: 5 minutes| Serves : 5-7 people
Ingredients:
- Saltine original crackers (Ritz)
- Pasta sauce (Classico tomato and basil)
- Maggi ketchup (Original flavor)
- Finely chopped onions
- Finely chopped tomatoes
- Finely chopped bell peppers
- Finely chopped coriander
- Grated amul cheese
- Oregano
- Chili flakes
- Salt to taste
Sauce Mixture:
- Combine Pasta sauce with Maggi ketchup. Add Oregano, chili flakes and salt to the sauce and mix everything evenly.
Recommendations:
- Use amul cheese only.
- Sprinkling of coriander is optional.
- Monaco crackers could be used. But Ritz crackers are preferred since they are lightly salted.
Method:
- Line 4 crackers across the baking pan or any other square sheet pan. Make 6 lines of 4 crackers (24 crackers total).
- Spread the sauce mixture on each cracker.
- Add a handful of finely chopped tomatoes, onions and bell peppers on all crackers.
- Add a handful of grated amul cheese on each cracker.
- Sprinkle some coriander on top and your evening is made.
